The inaugural New York International Short Film Festival, NY Shorts Fest will be held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in the Lower East Side of New York City, May 29 - 31, 2012.

The NY Shorts Fest provides a showcase for the best short-form cinema and its creators in the world.

Created by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences accredited Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, LA Shorts Fest now in it’s 16th year.

We feel that short form cinema and its creators should have their own premire film festival in New York deserving similar recognition given to the feature film and its creators. The heart of the festival will be our quality and scope of extraordinary film programming.

In order to showcase the best short films and its filmmakers from around the world, we have created the New York International Short Film Festival.
